In a move that will see the UBC further enhance their status on the world bowls scene, all of the Ultimate Bowls Championship (UBC) events will be produced by Sports Entertainment Network's production arm Rainmaker for the next four years.

The agreement will commence immediately and go through to December 2024, which will mean all bowls content broadcasted nationally will be now produced by Rainmaker.

UBC CEO Mark Casey was clearly delighted with the news “To align ourselves with such a well-known and professional production company in Rainmaker, is a significant coup for our business moving ahead.”

“We believe once we are able to get our events back up and running in 2021, we will be able to go from strength to strength and we look forward to working alongside Crocmedia for many years to come.” Casey added.

Not only will Rainmaker produce all of the content for TV, they will also live-stream all UBC events including the UBC Draft for each year of the agreement. As part of the partnership, Sports Entertainment Network will also take over the commercial arrangements associated with the UBC.

Rainmaker CEO Richard Simkiss was equally excited about the new arrangement, “We are thrilled to be partnering with the UBC to provide first class broadcast coverage of their events and connecting brands to the huge footprint of a highly engaged audience nationally and abroad.  We enjoy a fantastic partnership with Bowls Australia and we look forward now to the opportunities ahead working with both the UBC and Bowls Australia in producing all of Australia’s bowls content nationally.”
